Compression wear and Pascal’s law
Compression wear is widely used in medicine and sports. Although compression wear for medical purposes provides a different level of compression than those used for sports, nonetheless, both of them compress the part where it is worn. Compression wear and Pascal’s law are closely related. Schuren & Mohr (2010) in a study on Pascal’s law and the dynamics of compression therapy concluded that Pascal’s law can explain the dynamics of effective compression therapy.
